Karteros, a well known sea resort; it is found on the Old National Road that leads to Hersonissos. It attracts many visitors during the summer months, due to its nice sandy beach and warm blue sea. It has a well developed tourist infrastructure offering many hotels and other tourist facilities.

Prassa and Kallithea villages offer areas of natural beauty in combination with many landmarks of cultural heritage such as old water mills and picturesque little chapels. Major religious events are celebrated all year round contributing to the maintenance of customs and traditions of each village.

Both villages present a growing economic activity and many artists and athletes chose to built their second residences here.
